ABOUT ALBERT GARCIA
"It's my mission in life to bring the pearl
back to the forefront of fashion. I've worked
with fine jewelry for over twenty years, but
it's the pearl that has truly captured my
heart. It's exciting to see the wide variety of
shapes and colors available in today's
market.
"My love of pearls began with movies.
Pearls used to be only for glamorous
movie goddesses or blushing brides. With
the fresh water pearl alternative, now all
women can wear the 'ladies gem.' Pearls
don't have to be boring! Pearls can be
daring and fashion forward, spiritual and
sexy all at the same time. The fresh water
market has grown by leaps and bounds as
an affordable alternative to sea pearls.
"The beauty and value of a piece depends
not only on the elements used but also
upon the details of construction. That's why
I choose the most lustrous fresh water
pearls for my designs. I use a special
method of construction, employing silk
thread that is hand knotted between each
pearl. The knotting, a traditional and
time-honored technique, adds life to your
pearls by preventing the wear and cracking
caused when pearls are strung without this
technique. Also, if for any reason your
string should break, the necklace remains
intact."

CARING FOR YOUR PEARLS
Fresh water pearls are REAL PEARLS! They
have to be treated as such. Here are a few points
to remember when handling pearls:
- Alcohol products can damage your pearls.
Apply hairspray or perfume before you put
on your pearls. Alcohol products can, over
time, rob pearls of their luster.
- Pearls are the softest of all gems. Handle
them with care.
- Wear your pearls often. They absorb the oils
in your skin, and this oil keeps them looking
lustrous.
- Keep your pearls stored in the silk bag
provided with your order. The silk will not
only help keep your pearls polished, but it
also lets them breath.
- If your pearls become dirty, clean them only
with a mild dish-washing liquid in warm
water. Do not use any abrasive soaps.
SHIPPING POLICY
Unlike mass market jewelry that you might purchase in a shop, Albert does not make a piece until you order it. The necklace or bracelet that you order
is constructed to the specifications you select under the options pull down menu when you choose your piece. Although we can usually ship the items
more quickly, we ask that you allow 2 weeks for construction plus time for delivery. This means that you should order your piece no less than 3 weeks
before you will need it. We cannot guarantee that you will receive your order by a specific date. All jewelry pieces are subject to the availability of
materials, which may cause shipping delays. We will inform you if there are any difficulties acquiring certain cross styles, pendants, or other materials.
We charge a flat rate of $7 for shipping regardless of the number of pieces you order (as long as these pieces are shipped together), so order as much
as you like at one time! This fee includes postage and packaging. All shipments will be insured for the cost of the order, and you will be required to sign
for delivery of the order to confirm that you have received your jewelry. We require that all shipments be insured, but this service is complimentary to you,
and you will not have to pay any additional charges for insurance. At this time, we ship all packages via UPS ground.
RETURN POLICY
If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, you may return the item at no charge via UPS. Please contact us for return information.
Did you accidentally order the wrong size? No problem. For just the charge of shipping you may return the item to us, and we will alter the length of the
piece to your specifications, provided that the length does not exceed that of the parameters set in the pull down option menu that applies to the piece
you ordered. If your needs for length exceed those specifications, additional charges may apply. Please contact us about customizing your order.
The finest in hand-strung pearl jewelry.
